Lyle Smith of Tacoma Washington. He caught this state record Mackinaw out of Lake Chelan. The 2nd week of August 2001 & it's weight was 33 lbs. 6 1/2 oz. The big mackinaw was a male estimated at 30 years old! It was caught trolling at 160 ft. 15 lb. Maxima line, 12 lb. leader and a Les Davies #2 dodger with artificial roe on a trailing hook behind a 4" glo-n-the-dark green Hoochie twinkle skirt. The old record mackinaw was 31 lbs. 3 oz.
